Everything about the wedding was glamorous from the venue to the awesomely beautiful wedding gown from Oscar De La Renta and a breathtaking candle-lit evening party that offered guests with the rare chance of enjoying views of the romance-filled Italian coast.

After Party

After the wedding ceremony, Whitney Wolfe changed from her gown into an evening silky and cream-colored dress for the party. The venue for the reception had a canopy from lemon trees, which perfectly complimented the awesome lemon accents on the menus and dinner tables. The couple had a huge single-tier cake topped with fresh fruits like strawberries. The wedding couple had met in Aspen on Valentine’s Day three years back and had gotten engaged in July.

About Whitney Wolfe and Bumble

Whitney Wolfe started Bumble app that gives women the chance of making the first move after she faced a difficult period in her life. She left another dating company and filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against it leading to her getting a huge backlash online. The online backlash took a negative toll on her confidence level. She got an undisclosed settlement from the suit and her experience from this time presented an idea to her on how to assist women online. Whitney states that a person can start a business to offer solution to something that has been a personal pain.

Whitney Wolfe went on to create an app that is dedicated to women where users are able to exchange compliments without any negativity and make the first move. She turned to Andrey Andreev, the CEO of Badoo networking site to be her co-founder. The app is set to launch a section for professionals to network this fall. Whitney Wolfe attended the Southern Methodist University and holds a B.A. International Relations degree.
